Twitter Drops

Twitter drops are our name drops that we do on twitter

Hello everyone, we are going to introduce twitter drops to our newsletter. Twitter drops is when we notify people of available domain names via Twitter. Going forward, we will periodically collect some of our domain suggestions we post via twitter (this of course is for names that have not been registered) and provide them in our newsletter.

The difference between the newsletter drops and the twitter drops is that the newsletter drops are more in-depth. Also, the drops/names we suggest via the newsletter tend to be a bit more scarce in regards to domain and extension availability. Whereas, the domain names we suggest via twitter usually have more availability in many extensions due to the SLD (second level domain or word that comes before the dot) sometimes being more obscure/creative.

However, this is not always the case with drops we do on Twitter. In our opinion, the names are still of good quality and could serve as good brand names even if they tend to be a little more creative than newsletter drops.

Now, without further ado, here are the twitter drops.

As the tweet suggests, we think this could be a cool brand dedicated to some kind of web3 dev tools platform or anything that is web3 related and involves web/tech development. The word third is registered in 144 other domain extensions.

If you or someone you know is looking to launch a non-profit or charitable organization, then this would be a pretty cool name. The word, up, fits right with non-profits and/or charities, such as uplifting and helping others.

The .one domain extension is an extension you normally do not see utilized and used by many companies but strangely, there are not much .one domain names available for registration. However, the extension has seemed to gain some steam with in the web3 crowd but not nearly as much traction with more traditional companies/industries. Nonetheless, the word ,one, is popular in regard to healthcare name branding. This would be an awesome name for a healthcare provider, health insurance company or some kind of health tech company.

This name is definitely fitting for some kind of tech company. More specifically web3, especially considering those in the crypto/web3 space have a penchant for using alternative extensions from across the board. There is open registration for the .nu domain extension which means you don’t have to be a resident of Niue in order to register the domain.

This word is still available in all the extensions listed in the post above, which is surprising. This post actually goes a little more into depth than some of the others.

Much like the post prior to this one, there is more detail within the post. Both were on Indie Hackers before being posted on twitter.

This name is a little long but still pretty decent and all are still available. Identifiable is registered in 9 other extensions.

We think this is fitting for a .me domain extension.

The .dev version of this domain name is also available.

Well, that is it for now. We will continue to do twitter drops going forward. If you see an name you like and register, It would awesome if we could get a little info on what you plan on building with the domain name. However, this is just a request, you do not have to give any information about registering the domain and what you plan to do with it.It is something that we would like to know for purposes of furthering Namedrop and we just think it is interesting and cool to know if you guys are benefiting from the newsletter and what the plans are for the domain name you registered. Also, if any of the names do not happen to catch your eye but you think a friend or friends would like, please let them know or share our posts, big thanks!
